Through our network of multi-family properties, HHDC's Social Service Coordinators address the multifaceted needs of our residents. By nurturing self-sufficiency, we assist residents with their unique needs, paving a path to stability. Our social services connect residents with resources that will help provide them with the stability needed to remain successfully in their homes.

Life is full of systems that are not easy to navigate- benefits, healthcare, employment, and so many more. Our Social Service Coordinators are embedded at each of our properties enabling them to to understand the unique needs of the residents, and support them in meeting their goals. It is not only learning about resources that makes a difference, but the confidence and self sufficiency that comes from navigating those systems themselves.

Our Social Service Coordinators design opportunities for residents to meet their neighbors and get involved with their broader community. From social events to local outings, these moments of connection allow them to step outside themselves and grow beyond their existing world. A change of pace can open residents up to new experiences, leading to a richer and more fulfilling daily life.
